Can an INDIVIDUAL take deduction u/s 80C in case of housing loan repayment which is taken by INDIVIDUAL and repayment made by his HUF.

Should the loan be taken in the name of the individual, even though the payment is made by HUF the deduction can be claimed by the individual.. disclose the same as loan by the HUF to individual..

Deductions under section 80C eligible on the basis of payment and to the person who pays it. However the above expert suggestion can be consider.
