Section 1431a for a.y.12-13

I got an email from I-T department raising demand under section 1431a for outstanding for assesment year 2012-13. But i have paid all the taxes and filed the return for that assessment year as well. I do not know why I-T department has raised it.

Make an application for obtaining intimation u/s 143(1) for determining the manner of raising demand.
