19 February 2010 please tell me whats the meaning of relief u/s 89

19 February 2010 relief u/s 89 is a sec of areas. if you recieved any areas of your last years in current or in one year. so you need to calculate you tax us sec. 89(1) to take benefit of different tax between receitp basis when you received areas and accural basis where that last years has to be added in that particular year.

19 February 2010 thank u so much ........but i want to know after calculating the relief u/s 89,in what way i have to present in the answer,wheather the relief is some kind of deduction given to the assessee
