Is contract of maintenance/Operating of street lights comes under construction Business ?
can we claim such income u/s 44AD?

As per the recent amendment, any business and not only construction business is covered under 44AD. So you can claim your income u/s 44AD if your turnover is below 60 lakhs and Profit is more than 8% of the turnover.
