i have received notice for scrutiny u/s 142(1) & 143(2). in notice u/s 142(1) AO ask me to file return of income. but why i need to file return of income when the same was earlier fied. what is use of notice u/s 142(1)

You do not need to file any return just submit the copy of acknowledgement to the Officer. It is asked for the case only if you want to revised the return for stating the any undisclosed income or not or in case if you do not have file any return.
