Samsung's case is to be taken up by SC in Aug,10.
The judgement granting stay is hereunder:
SC grants stay against CIT v. Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on section 195 of IT Act, 1961 [185 Taxman 313] SUPREME COURT OF INDIA GE India Technology Cen (P.) Ltd. v. CIT SLP (C) Nos. 34306-34307/2009 18-Dec-09 ________JUDGEMENT__________ S. H. Kapadia, H. L. Dattu and B. S. Chauhan, JJ. Issue notice, Dasti granted, returnable within four weeks. Stay of recovery till further orders. This is an ad interim order.
