Hello,
i started my restaurant business on dt 01-04-11, but till dt (22-07-11), i did't take TIN no. now i want to take , so what's the procedure behind this , & which document to be needed for deposit in sales tax department,

As VAT is a state level tax, so FORMS, DOCUMENTS REQUIRED and all the procedures are different from state to state. So please tell your state and then only some one will be able to reply to your query.
