Sales Return procedure in Excise

21 January 2010 we received goods reurned from our customers due to disquality of product. But we raised invoice before 2 months, but goods received in this month. So i can confuse how can treat it in excise books and ER-1 Returns.

22 January 2010 This siutation is covered under Rule 16 of the CER. You can avail the recredit of the duty paid and then if you further remove as such to others then duty maybe paid based on the credit availed.
