ONE STAFF JOIN FROM DEC 10 NOW HIS GROSS SALARY IS RS.35000/-, HIS PREVIOUS GROSS INCOME IS RS.300000/-(NO TDS DEDUCTION). IT IS COMPULSARY TO CALCULATE HIS PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT INCOME IN TDS WORKING AND DEDUCTION OF TDS ACCORDINGLY.
OR TDS WORKING WILL BE DONE FROM DEC 10 TO MAR 10 (NOT TAXABLE INCOME RS.140000/- HENCE NO TDS DEDUCTION)

It is the duty of the employee to tell new employer salary drawn from previous employer. If emplyoee delare prevous income to new employer, the new employer is bound to deduct tax on previous employer income also
