Salary-Medical reimbursement-TDS

25 March 2010 As per our Service Rules, Medical bill of employees shall be submitted for reimbursement in the subsequent month. The medical bills will be processed and reimbursements of medical expenses are normally made in the month of submission of medical bill itself, subject to the eligibilNow, we kindly request you to provide advice as to whether medical reimbursement pertaining to the month of March 2010 to be included in the Salary of employees while calculating tax liability for the purpose of deducting TDS u/s 192 in the Assessment year 2010-2011ity limit of employees.

25 March 2010 medical reimbursement up to Rs. 15000/- for the year is exempted.

hence if medical reimbursement more then Rs. 15000/- will be consider for calculating TDS
