07 August 2011 As per rule 6dd payment >20000 in cash is disallow but as per amendment in rule 6dd for transport expenses cash payment allow up to Rs.35000.
Therefore my question is that if I am pay freight for 2 truck Rs.30000/- each and I dose not know that there is same proprietor both truck.
Is transport expenses is disallow to me as I pay Rs.60000/- in one day to same party as I dose not know that there is same proprietor for both truck ????
give me ans as soon as possible with proper reference in book or proper link.

07 August 2011 when you are paying in cash, you have to have pan card of transport otherwise you have to deduct 20% TDS, here you have in knowledge about ownership of the tranports
