Revised return if original return was filed belated

29 December 2011 Dear sir,
Can we file a revised return if the original return was filed after the due date (ie, belated Returns)?
and can we file the return of AY-2010-11 (FY-2009-10) now?

30 December 2011 As per Income tax rule you can not revised the Belated return, But Practicaly CPC Banglore is accepeting the revised return u/s 139(5) of belated return. If they not accepet your revise return wait for assessment order. After assessment you can file rectification.
