Hi,
I have filed a return of Mr X, But now i have to revise this return b'coz, i had mention ppf interest(approx) in the return already filed.
But The problem is, his PPF is already matured on A.Y 2009-10 itself.And i have also not clubbed his Wife's NSC interest this A.Y year as i was doing till last year.
So should i go for revised return or is there any problem. Pls Advise.

although PPF interest doesn't affect the taxable income or amount of tax but wrong particulars are provided. interest on NSC is being regularly disclosed in py but not this year which may be treated as concealment of income and case may be reopened if assessed already. it is advisable to file the revised return
