Return of a.y. 11-12 filed in itr form of a.y. 2012-13 ?

13 August 2012 Hello everyone,

i wanted to file ay 11-12 return of one of my client but due to last date (return was filed on 31/07/12) hurry my assisstant used the itr form of a.y. 12-13 and filed the return manually.

How should i rectify this mistake ?

14 August 2012 The above situation means that the return for AY 12-13 has been filed and return for AY 11-12 has not been filed.

Remedy:

1. File a fresh return for AY 11-12 using the correct form. It will be filed u/s 139(4).

2. Revise the return for AY 12-13.
