can anybody tell me which form should i fill to file NIL return for the period 01.10.2011 to 31.03.2012.

Form to be filled depends on nature of business, which is given in RC case. The return for NIL T.O. is for 2nd half period of 11-12 is required to be submitted, in the same form in which return was submitted for 1st half of the year.
