Return filling of f.y 2011-12

06 January 2015 Dear experts ,
I had not filed my return for f.y 2011-12.
But i had refund under that period.
I was also not taxable in the relevant period.

Now my question is that can i file the return giving penalty and claim my refund.
pls help

06 January 2015 yes you can file it, but you need to take PRIOR permission of the CIT having jurisdiction over your income....
And normally IT dept does not charge any penalty

06 January 2015 Do i need to write an application for the same.or meet the ITO office personally ?
