return filing with DSC

11 September 2010 a company is reg efiling since AY 2007-08. now the dept has called for mandatory use of DSC to efile for companies. the DSC is without PAN purchased last year. how to do efiling ?

11 September 2010 As on today there is no alternative other than to obtain a PAN based DSC which can be used for IT and company law(MCA21) filing.

12 September 2010 If director who is signing the return is the not new director, the old DSC obtained can be used

13 September 2010 ya he is old director...but how can u define old or new director all such to IT dept. i cant get that point..this is new thing that DSC must be used...how to is question

13 September 2010 If the director who has signed the IT return for the assessment year 2009-10 is also signing (using DSC )for the IT return for the assessment year 2010-11, then the IT e-filing site will accept the existing DSC (non- PAN based ) provided the name of the director mentioned in the IT return(verification column) for the assessment year 2009-10 matches with the PAN data base and the PAN number quoted therein is correct. If the above conditions are not satisfied, a fresh PAN based DSC should be obtained, otherwise IT e-filing with DSC will not be possible as the position stands today.
