24 January 2014 sir, i have filed a return for the A Y 2013-14 ITR- 4S for an income of Rs.202250/- belatedly on 24.01.2014 with an enabling option of Before Due Date and the tax was Rs.250/- which was paid by the party but after completion of filing of the return the tax liability has raised to Rs.4750/- payable and the return is successfully uploaded with tax amount of Rs. 250/- and it shows that tax payable is Rs. 4500/-. How is this possible and what are the ways to rectify it.

24 January 2014 I think you may not fill your return of income properly or doesn't used tax calculated button before to conversion to XML(incase you using excel return from downloaded from IT Website) or any other hidden income added while computation of tax. So please check through. If possible please send excel file of return filled and filed to my mail id:sairam_tirumala@rediffmail.com
