25 April 2010 I was filling the return for the Assessment Year 2009-10 on 8th April 2010 Electronically....
It was Zero Tax Return.........

While uploading the Same a message comes out saying "LAST DATE FOR UPLODING RETURNS FOR THE AY 2009-10 WAS 31st MARCH 2010 PLEASE CONTACT TO YOUR ASSESSING OFFICER"...........
Then i Filled the same return in paper form in ITO.....

can any one please tell me what was the problem Exectly why it didnt uploded.....

I mean to say that "the return under Section 139(4) of the income tax act can be filled at any time before the expiry of ONE YEAR from the end of relevent Assessment year" so i can file the same return upto 31 march 2011..........
so why was such message came.........

25 April 2010 yes.the return for ay 2009-10.last date 31.3.2010.so date is over it is rejected
