Reopen of completed assessment u/s 143(2) read with sec 129

07 December 2012 requesting for your suggestion of the following
1.Assessment of our company completed under section 143(3) for the assessment year 2008-09 awarded a penalty which we have paid.
2.Under this circumstance the income tax department reopned the assessment under section 147 for the same.
3.Now we have received a notice under section 143(2) read wtih section 129 for the same assessment year 2008-09.
I request you to kindly guide me on this issue.
Do we have a stand to challange the notice issued under section 143(2) read with section 129.
