23 June 2009 i have given a furnished property to a client and taking rent individually from the tenant having full bifurcation of amount. are the sevices given to client of furniture and fixtures taxable before june 2006.

23 June 2009 In my view if the furniture/ fixtures are movable then only VAT is payable.
Prior to 1.6.2007 renting itslef was not an entry and therefore no liability even on immovables. Now the renting entry itslef is being challenegd and is before the SC.
