pls give me the details for how to Start work for statutory Audit conducted in particular Company.
i m working in the Audit firm and have to start statutory audit for co. then how to proceed further for that Audit

22 June 2010 First of all you should make an audit program with a senior who has already done audit of this company. He will help you in making decision for scale of audit for a particular area.
like sale is to be check 100% or not ?
Purcahse is check 100% or not?
in which area, there are error.
Then first of all , you have to check opening trial with Balance Sheet , then go ahead for as per you audit programme.
