Regarding Filing of ITR

11 June 2011 Dear sir,

When a person Darw salary from partnership firm as a partner and also Engaged in proprietory Business Then which ITR use for show both said income in A.Y. 2011-12.

In ITR- 4 has no coloum for Salary from partnership firm as a partner.
In ITR-3 has no coloum for Proprietory Buss. income.

Plz Solve my Query earlier with Explanation.

11 June 2011 It will be ITR 4 because income from proprietory business can only be disclosed in ITR 4.

11 June 2011 For individual assessee:
ITR 1 and 2 for other than business income
ITR 3 is for the assessee who is having business income from partnership firm only.
ITR 4 is for the assessee having business income including income from partnership firm.

ITR 5 & 6 are not for individuals rather ITR filing for firms.

12 June 2011 Since Mr Amit Barsle has said that the concerned person also has a proprietorship business in addition to being a partner in a partnership firm, then only ITR4 can be used.

In ITR4 partners salary, interest etc. has to be included in point no 23 of sheet BP.
