REGARDING COMPLETION OF ARTICLESHIP

09 May 2011 My Artileship ended on 17th Mar 2011,but due to my exams i did not fill form 108 within 30 days.Now its been around 53 days (i.e.,23 days beyond 30 days)since my articleship completed.

My Querries are-

1)Pls tell the late fee i have to pay for form 108.

2)Now,if i submit form 108 at this point i will not be able to submit 107 within 60 days.So, will i be required to pay late fee for form 107 also?If yes, how much?

3)Is the Condonation letter required to be framed on the employer's letter head mandatorily?

Please reply. Its Urgent.

09 May 2011 Answers to your questions.

1. The late fees is Rs.100 (by way of Demand Draft) but if the delay is beyond 30 days but before 60 days.

2. Why do you want to submit 107?? Is there any extension to your articleship. If yes, you need to pay the late fees on Form 107 also.

3. Condonation letter is not required on employer's letter head, but should be written by the article on his own. No letter head, but on a plain paper.

20 July 2025 Regarding submission of Form 108 for completion of articleship:

Number of copies: You need to submit 3 copies of Form 108.
One copy for the Principal (CA),
One copy for the Institute (ICAI Regional Office),
And one copy for yourself (the articled assistant).
Make sure all copies are properly signed and dated before submission.
