Refund voucher cancelled-incorrect/incomeplete address ?

24 August 2012 Hello everyone,

there are many cases where assessee has changed the place of residence and due to this refund voucher could not be delivered to the assessee and it is cancelled by the income tax department.

In such a situation what should we do so that we client can get refund at the earliest if returns are filed manually/ohysically or online ?

24 August 2012 The client should be asked to call CPC call center and enquire, CPC will guide them if the return is filed Online and processed at CPC.
