22 June 2012 my mother pan no aflpb1489g ay 11-12 but refund not get i saw staus Your assessing officer has not sent this refund to Refund Banker.
If this refund has been sent by your Assessing Officer within the last week, you may wait for a week and again check status.
Note:-so what can i do 4 it

20 July 2025 Since your mother filed the return manually for AY 2011-12 and the refund status shows that the Assessing Officer (AO) has not yet sent the refund to the Refund Banker, here’s what you can do:

Follow up with the Assessing Officer (AO):
Visit or contact the jurisdictional AO office and inquire about the delay in processing the refund. Sometimes manual returns take longer for processing.
Check if the return is processed:
Confirm whether the return has been processed and the refund demand has been determined by the AO.
File a formal request:
If needed, file a refund status inquiry or application with the AO, attaching a copy of the return acknowledgment and bank details.
Keep track of the demand notice:
Sometimes refunds are delayed due to pending scrutiny or adjustments. Confirm there is no outstanding demand against the PAN.
If no response or delay continues:
You can approach the Income Tax Grievance Cell or file a complaint on the Income Tax Department’s e-filing portal.
Manual returns often take time, so it’s good to keep following up directly with the AO.
