11 January 2014 My friend is a salaried employee and on calculation of his tax liability after adjusting tds he has some amount of refund every year but he did not received any refund from A.y. 2009-10 I want to know that is there any time limit to get refund and if not what to do to get refund

11 January 2014 you can easily check the status of returns from AY 2009-10...if there is any refund due, you can claim the same...ask your friend to provide you ITRV and 143(1) orders, check his bank statements to ensure that no refund was directly credited to his account.
