Rectification u/s 154 of the act

19 January 2012 To proceed with rectification request for AY 2011-12 in response to intimation u/s 143(1):

After logging into assessee account in IT portal, under the rectification upload section the system asks for *Aggregate Income Tax Liability* and *Total Tax Credit Allowed*.

However the annexure containing said codes for AY 2011-12 is not found attached.

Query:
1. When is the earliest time when rectification request w.r.t AY 2011-12 can be uploaded ?
2. If rectification can be submitted, what are the relevant codes for ITR-1 ?

19 January 2012 1. "Aggregate Income Tax Liability" and "Total Tax Credit Allowed" are to be filled up from the intimation that you have received.

2. Rectification request can be submitted immediately on receipt of intimation u/s 143(1).
