12 July 2013 Respected Sir,
One of my client received notice regarding interest on late payment of TDS the amount said to be payable, my query is while filing the challan no 281, shall i tick on option (400)Tax on regular assessment and i fill complete payable amount in interest coloumn, kindly guide me accordingly.

12 July 2013 Yes you are correct. Tick the option Tax on Regular Assessment and show the amount in interest column. Choose any section to which such interest relates.

13 July 2013 Dear Sir,
As you replied that "Choose any section to which such interest relates", but at the time of return filing i have select 94C & 94A, so penalty interest are combination of both, so what should I select. Please guide me...

13 July 2013 Select any one. And after payment write a letter to TDS AO along with copy of the said challan.
