Rebate of interest on borrowed capital

Kindly advise whether rebate on borrowed capital could be allowed to the assessee who has taken a House loan on his name but the registration of the house has been made in his wife's name.

Husband can't claim ,since he is not the owner of the house property. Pl see section 24(b) of the Income tax Act,1961.
