11 December 2011 Can a person work both overseas and in India and draw salary from both places. What is the treatment of Tax when he completes 182 days in FY 2011-12 and continues drawing salary at both places

12 December 2011 If a person works, he is given salary.
If He completes 182 days in India, he remains resident and salary -whether foreign
or Indian, is taxed in his hand in India.
.
He may get credit for the TDS on Foreign salary in pursuance to DTAA if there exists in between India and that country of employment.

12 December 2011 Here the TDS shall be liable to be deducted in India by foreign Company if the services are rendered in India.

Question of TDS credit shall not arise as TDS was liable to be deducted in India only and not in foreign country.
