Rcm on rent paid

31 March 2018 Hello Team CA Club,

My query is regarding RCM in case of rent paid.
I am registered dealer and paying rent of Rs. 1200/- per month for commercial use, to an URD. As RCM is suspended from 13th Oct till 31st March 2018, Do I need to pay GST on behalf of owner (as he is URD) from July 17 to 12th Oct 2017. As, I have not paid tax for the said period, what should I do?

My advise is...
The 1200 is a small amount. so, You will be pay it when Your One Day expenses came less than 5000...

01 April 2018 Exemption reverse charge upto Rs 5000 per day under section 11 (1) Notification No.8/2017 -Central Tax (Rate) You take benefit under the above.
