07 July 2012 Please tell me that what is the rate of service tax over beverages(Wine & Beer, foodings and hospitality services??

07 July 2012 Serving of food or beverages in a centrally air-conditioned premise will be taxed if its restaurant has a license to serve alcoholic beverages. However, those restaurants which do not have license to serve alcoholic beverages will be exempt from service tax.

07 July 2012 Serving of food or beverages outside the restaurant, say near the swimming pool, will be taxed if service is from a restaurant having license to serve alcoholic beverages.

07 July 2012 Bundled service by way of supply of food or any other article of human consumption or any drink, in a premises ( including hotel, convention center, club, pandal,
shamiana or any other place, specially arranged for organizing a function) together with renting of such premises- taxable portion will be 70% of the total amount.
