Whether a assesse having date of birth 06.01.1936 is a super senior citizen for Assessment year 2015-16 i.e. financial year 2014-15.

No, for the financial year 2015-16 and AY 2016-17 only eligible for 5 lacs slab.

for super senior citizen you need to complete min of 80 years during anytime in the FY 2015-16 to become eligible for slab of rs 500,000.
if the age at any time during fy 15-16 is 60 years or more but less then 80 years then upto 300,000 no tax is applicable.
