QUERY REGARDING ARTICLESHIP

01 April 2008 DEAR SIR/MADAM,

I AM REGISTERED IN AHMEDABAD AND MY ALL CORRESPONDENCE IS WITH MUMBAI BRANCH OF ICAI. NOW I WANT TO TAKE TRANSFER FROM MY PRINCIPALAND WANT TO REGISTER IN JODHPUR OR KOLKATA. BY THAT MY CORRESPONDENCE OFFICE WILL CHANGE ACCORDINGLY. I HAVE SENT MY ALL FORMS AND COACHING TO MUMBAI BRANCH. I AM FEARING THAT WHETHER I HAVE TO RE SEND COACHING TO ANOTHER OFFICE AND WHAT OTHER FORMALITIES TO BE COMPILED WITH?

01 April 2008 Just take a termination from ur present employer in Form 109 and send it to mumbai branch for execution.Form 109 will be executed in triplicate. one copy of Form 109 will be given back to you once it is acknowledged as received, the second copy is for the employer and the third copy to be retained by the institute.The institute will confirm ur termination by sending u a letter for the same.
After the above formalities kindly execute form 102 and 103 with the new employer. In Form 103 make sure ur address for communication is the place ur now moving into that is either jodhpur or kolkatta.
For speedy processing of Form 103 in either jodhpur or kolkatta u will have to ensure that the mumbai branch transfers all ur articleship record or other records to the new branch.For this u'll have to make a request to mumbai branch to transfer ur file to the new branch.
