20 December 2011 My brother has been depositing in her child PPF account Rs. 10000 to 15000 per month my query is that can he pay Rs. 100000 in this F,Y. 2011-12 so that he can claim deduction under section 80C.

22 December 2011 The total amount deposited in the PPF a/c during the year should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh. Deduction of full Rs. 1 lakh shall be allowed.
