Can We claim CST Credit against Vat Credit?

Dear Friend,
No Set off is available on CST purchased item from other state. It is specificaaly denied in the Act.
Input tax credit will not be available on Inter State purchases,One state Govt. cannot be expected to give credit for the tax paid in another state
