Dear Sir
our company is in karnataka, We purchase goods from chennai , some of the goods were rejected and we have to sent it back to chennai, in this case if we have to make a seperate invoice in our format to sent back the goods or we have to send a debit note to the supplier with material, is any tax we have to impose on such goods. it is a cst transaction.

For returing the rejected good you can make debit note along with the delivery note from your side
