05 August 2013 One of my client company planning to open a company which supplies bio-medical equipments to hospitals. just wanted to know whether provident fund registration & esi registration is must irrespective of no of employees.

For EPF coverage the minimum number of employees required for a STATUTORY coverage is 20 employees.

For ESI the required number of employees are 10 drawing less than 15000 Gross Salary.
