23 May 2012 I have been working in a Private Co. since last 4 years. However, I would like to know that if I leave the company after 8 months (i.e. after completing 4.8 yrs) then, am I eligible for Provident Fund or I will have to complete 5 yrs exactly to be eligible for getting Provident Fund.

Please advice.

Thanks

24 May 2012 The condition of 5 years of service is applicable for gratuity and not to Provident Fund.
