I have a query about the service tax payment that property / corporation tax paid for a property let out for rent. what will be the treatment for such tax paid. should it be less from the service tax collected from tenant on rent or it should not be

Can be reduced from the rent for calculating service tax. Please refer notification No. 24/2007-Service Tax, dated 22.5.2007 for full details.

Pl guide that to get rebate who should pay service tax, either tenant or property owner. Also guide if property owner can collect service tax on such municipal taxes or not
