Is a Trader liable to pay Professional Tax ( Odisha)?

If so, how is it computed? On the basis of Turnover or on the basis of taxable income?

30 April 2022 “The Odisha State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act 2000” commonly known as the Professional Tax Act, provides that
Every Entity who is an Employer is required to be registered under this Act as a Professional tax Deductor; and
Every Person / Professional etc.is required to be enrolled under this Act, if he is liable to pay Professional Tax
