13 May 2010 let me know whether a Chartered Accountant who is partner in a CA Practicing Firm Can do job (as a paid employee) in any other CA Firm ?

what is the provision pls clear the matter

13 May 2010 For being a partner in a CA Practicing firm you need to hold COP. If you are holding COP full time, then you cannot be an employee in any other firm.
Howvever, if you are an employee in other firm, then also you can hold COP but then it will be part time COP and you will not be allowed to perform any certification or attestation work.
