If u have a COP and u dont intend to practice better surrender it and get into industry. and u 'll be assessed under head Salary if u have employee and employer relationship.

Thanks Mr.Yusuf,
(1) but my question is whether a CA not in practice (not holding COP) can join a company as a Consultant, if he is given an option by the employer. Also has no intention to do practice.
