19 November 2013 please tell me whether in practise it will be beneficial if after completing CA anyone goes for PH.d in taxation. .

01 December 2013 From knowledge point of view it is good.But practically,it is more benificial for persons who want to work as professors /lecturers.
It would be rather better ,if you study technical material of ICAI on tax or attend certificate courses of ICAI on tax matters.Apart from gaining knowledge you will also get the benefit of CPE hours.
