PF calculation

17 December 2010 pf is applicable if salary is below 6500.
My question is if salary is above 6500 then pf should be 6500 *0.12 only. above that(amount greater than 6500*0.12)should be taken into voluntary contribution. Am i right? can anyone provide detail of break up of pf admin charges.

17 December 2010 You are right, even basic salary is more than Rs. 6500 you can opt voluntary contribution for excess of Rs. 6500. but admin charges need to be calculated only on Rs. 6500 only
