11 September 2012 Hi, I am working in a company since 3 years and avail benefit of PF deduction and while checking balance of my PF account on EPFO website I found that my PF account is invalid and even X employees of this company told that they never received PF remittance amount and some are requesting to company for PF amount since 6-8 months but they never received payment and they say that company is fraud it just deducts amount from our salary and do not maintain any PF amounts for Employees and can anybody help me out how to get my PF account status and balance coz when I asked the company accountant he refused that he does not provide balance information or any document. He said I need to verify online, and can any procedure to how to sue company and any other documents required to sue the company if it found that company is fraud. Thanks please help me out in order to get my savings. Thanks....waiting for ur precious replies..!

11 September 2012 First, you should find out by the PF number you have been allotted, may be through RTI application that the company is registered with PF department or not. You can also find out through RTI whether conpany has deposited PF amount and in particular against your number.

If not deposited you can file an FIR and institute a case of fraud/cheating/distrust etc. under various provisions of IPC against the Company/ its directors/partners accountants etc.

11 September 2012 Thanks Sir, I found that company is registered with PF Department as well as Clerk of our company showed me the company's copy of cheque he used to deposit to the PF department. But the real problem found was that one accountant deposited cheque for one year in Gurgaon branch but the company was registered in South Delhi PF office. That information is not updated with Delhi SOuth office and no action is taken by the company to update this information to the PF department. Now, Whosoever try to get the amount of PF from PF office there forms are rejected saying for one year the amount is not paid by the company. I m really confused how to tackle this situation as company says they had filled the forms and documents but there is no solution?? Please, Suggest
