cash withdrawn Rs.2000 from SBI bank.
1.Bill RS.580 towards as stationery expense
2.Bill Rs.580 towards as Tea expense
3.Bill Rs.480 towards as Xerox expense
4.Balance remaining Rs.360 in hand

I want to know what would be the entries for the above transaction and what will be the entry for the balance of Rs.360

2 .Stationary expenses dr 580
STaff and labour expenses dr 580
Priniting expenses Dr 480
To petty Cash 1640

For closing balance u need not to do any entry as its showing in ur petty cash closing balance already
