does persuing cs along with ca needs permission from icai and vice versa? how does the articleship go of both the courses simultaneously?

No you did not but if your articleship is clashing with it than you need it.
The training of CS is after you got passed Executive so i dont think there would be much complications as you can make CS training pending till your articleship get over.
