Respected Sir,
I have recd. a certificate u/s 197 of Income Tax Act for deduction of tax at lower rate.
This Certificate is issued by department on the basis of application made by payyee a non- resident.
In this regard I have to say that I am not under Audit u/s 44AB and I have not taken TAN for TDS.So whether at he time of such payment Ihave to take TAN and deuct the tds @ as specified in certificate u/ 197
